2 / Steps

Five steps after acceptance

  1. Decide Publish or Presentation Only. This choice is made only after acceptance and is independent of peer review and of your Oral/Poster assignment. See the Publication Policy.
  2. Prepare the final paper in the required format and length for its accepted paper type (see What to submit; International Track: Oral = published as Full Paper, Poster = published as Short Paper) and check the paper title, author list, affiliations, and author email addresses. International Track: designate exactly one corresponding author, mark them in the paper header, and include their email address. Springer cannot change these (or the corresponding author) after the files are passed on.
  3. Complete the copyright / publication authorization form (Publish only). International Track: the corresponding author signs it on behalf of all authors. The form may be signed with a digital image of the signature (a scan or an image file of the handwritten signature) and is returned as a PDF. Presentation Only authors do not need to submit it.
  4. Complete registration and payment before the camera-ready deadline. At least one author per accepted paper (the presenting author) must complete registration and payment by October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE (High School Session: November 8, 2026) and present on-site (remote presentation is available only with prior approval; see Q51). See Registration.
  5. Submit your files on OpenReview before the deadline. The final paper as a PDF together with the source files (e.g., Word file, or LaTeX files as a ZIP), plus the paper abstract and the signed copyright form (as a PDF) where required by your track.

How to submit (International & Domestic Tracks)

Camera-ready files are submitted on OpenReview, in the same venue used for paper submission. The form is now open for authors of accepted papers (acceptance notifications have been sent).

  1. Log in to OpenReview with the account used for your submission. Open your accepted paper from the Author Console (or from the link in the notification email).
  2. On the paper page, click Edit > Camera Ready Revision. The form is titled “Edit Camera Ready Revision”.
  3. Review the existing fields (Title, Authors, Keywords, TL;DR, Abstract). If the title or author list needs correcting (for example, an omitted author), contact the Program Chairs before adding or removing an author, changing the author order, or changing the corresponding author. Corrections of name spelling or affiliation can be made here, and Authors Full Names and Authors Emails must be updated to match (see Q33).
  4. Upload the final paper in the PDF field (required).
  5. Select the Publication Decision (required; the choice is final): Publish in the Official Proceedings or Presentation Only (NOT-to-Publish).
  6. Enter Authors Full Names (exact order of the final manuscript, separated by semicolons), Corresponding Author Email, and Authors Emails (same order as the names, separated by semicolons). All three are required.
  7. If you chose Publish, upload the Source Files and the signed Copyright Form (PDF). Domestic Track full papers choosing Publish also upload the Abstract File. If you chose Presentation Only, leave these three fields empty.
  8. In Edit History, open the required Signatures dropdown and select TAAI 2026 Conference Submission<number> Authors (your paper’s own Authors group), then click Submit before the deadline. Your revision is applied directly to the paper.

Registration and payment are completed separately; see Registration. High School Session materials follow the instructions on the High School Session page. Questions: taai2026org@gmail.com.

International Track: final page length and additional page fee

International Track final papers use the Springer LNCS A4 format. Both Full Papers and Short Papers may add up to 2 pages beyond the base length for a fee.

Final page length by accepted paper type
Accepted asPublished asBase length (no extra fee)Paid extra pagesMaximum total
Accepted – OralFull Paper12–15 pagesPages 16–17, NT$1,500 per page17 pages
Accepted – PosterShort Paper6–11 pagesPages 12–13, NT$1,500 per page13 pages
  • All page counts include references and appendices.
  • Domestic Track papers are not subject to the additional page fee: their page limits are fixed (Full Paper up to 6 A4 pages, Extended Abstract up to 2 A4 pages).
  • One extra page costs NT$1,500 and two extra pages cost NT$3,000. The additional page fee is charged separately, in addition to the registration fee required for the paper.
  • Paid extra pages do not change the accepted paper type, the publication type, or the presentation format. Full Papers may not exceed 17 pages and Short Papers may not exceed 13 pages.
  • This is the TAAI 2026 International Track camera-ready policy; final inclusion of each paper remains subject to the publisher’s approval.

The additional page fee is due by the camera-ready deadline (October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE; Taipei time: November 1, 2026, 19:59) and is paid together with the registration fee in the online registration system.

The page limits and the additional page fee apply only to papers published in the proceedings (Publish). They do not apply to Presentation Only (NOT-to-Publish) papers.

5 / FAQ

Camera-ready, copyright form & registration FAQ

Q1. When is the camera-ready deadline?

International and Domestic Track camera-ready papers are due October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE (Taipei time: November 1, 2026, 19:59). The High School Session camera-ready materials and registration are due November 8, 2026, 23:59 AoE. See What to submit and Important Dates.

Q2. What does AoE mean, and how do I convert it to my local time?

AoE means Anywhere on Earth (UTC−12). A deadline of 23:59 AoE has not passed as long as it is still that date anywhere on Earth. It ends at 11:59 UTC on the next day, which is 19:59 the next day in Taipei (UTC+8). For example, October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE is November 1, 2026, 19:59 in Taipei.

Q3. Is the early-bird registration deadline the same as the camera-ready deadline?

Both fall on October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE, but they are separate steps. Camera-ready is about submitting your final files; early-bird rates apply only to registration and payment received by that time. Presenting authors must also be registered by the camera-ready deadline, so their registration is made at early-bird rates. Completing one does not complete the other. See Registration.

Q4. Will the camera-ready deadline be extended?

No extension has been announced. Any change will be posted on Important Dates and in News; please do not plan on an extension.

Q5. Do I have to choose Publish?

No. After acceptance you choose between Publish in the Official Proceedings and Presentation Only (NOT-to-Publish). The choice is independent of peer review and of your Oral/Poster assignment. See the Publication Policy.

Q6. Can I change my Publish / Presentation Only choice after camera-ready?

The choice you make at the Camera-Ready stage is the final publication decision. Decide carefully before the deadline.

Q7. If I choose Presentation Only, do I still have to register and present?

Yes. Presentation Only means the paper is not published in the proceedings; it does not cancel your presentation slot, and the registration requirement for accepted papers still applies: at least one author must complete registration by the camera-ready deadline and present on-site. Presentation Only authors do not need to submit the copyright form.

Q8. What format and length must my International Track final paper have?

Final papers use the Springer LNCS A4 format and are submitted as PDF. Page counts include references and appendices. Papers accepted as Oral Presentation are published as Full Papers (base 12–15 pages; up to 17 pages with paid extra pages), and papers accepted as Poster Presentation are published as Short Papers (base 6–11 pages; up to 13 pages with paid extra pages). See the page length and additional page fee policy and Downloads for the Springer instructions.

Q9. Can my Full Paper be longer than 15 pages?

Yes. The base length of a Full Paper is 12–15 pages; you may pay to add up to 2 more pages, for a maximum of 17 pages in total. Pages 16 and 17 cost NT$1,500 each. All page counts include references and appendices. See the page policy.

Q10. My paper was accepted as a Poster, but I submitted 12–15 pages. Do I have to shorten it?

If you choose Publish, prepare the final paper under the Short Paper rules: the base length is 6–11 pages, and you may pay to add up to 2 more pages, for a maximum of 13 pages; pages 12 and 13 cost NT$1,500 each. A 12–13 page paper can therefore be submitted after paying the additional page fee, while a 14–15 page paper must be shortened to at most 13 pages. Page counts include references and appendices. A paper with paid extra pages is still published as a Short Paper, and its presentation format remains Poster. See the Call for Papers FAQ Q17.

Q11. Is a Short Paper the same as an Extended Abstract?

No. A Short Paper (base 6–11 pages, up to 13 with paid extra pages) is a peer-reviewed paper published in the Springer CCIS post-proceedings. An Extended Abstract (up to 2 pages) is a Domestic Track format that is not published in the archival proceedings.

Q12. Which files do I submit for the final paper?

Submit the final paper as a PDF together with the source files (e.g., a Word file, or LaTeX files as a ZIP), plus the paper abstract and the signed copyright form (as a PDF) where required by your track. Source files are the files used to produce the PDF: a Word file in .docx format without macros (.docm files are not accepted), or all LaTeX files including style files, figures, and the .bib/.bbl file, packaged as a ZIP. The PDF must correspond exactly to the source files. These requirements follow the Springer instructions for authors for the International Track. Upload them in the Camera Ready Revision form on OpenReview (see How to submit).

Q13. What do Domestic Track full paper authors submit at camera-ready?

Authors who choose Publish submit the final paper (up to 6 A4 pages, using the TAAI 2026 Word template) as a PDF with the source files (e.g., Word file, or LaTeX files as a ZIP), the paper abstract, and the copyright form by the deadline. Templates are under Downloads. Authors who choose Presentation Only do not need the copyright form.

Q14. What do Domestic Track extended abstract authors submit at camera-ready?

Extended abstracts (up to 2 A4 pages, using the TAAI 2026 extended abstract template) are normally presented as posters and are not archival publications. In the Camera Ready Revision form, select Presentation Only (NOT-to-Publish) (see Q52). Final abstract materials are submitted as instructed by the Organizing Committee.

Q15. What are the camera-ready requirements for the High School Session?

High School Session camera-ready materials and registration are due together on November 8, 2026, 23:59 AoE. Please follow the instructions on the High School Session page.

Q16. What is the copyright / publication authorization form for?

It is the author's authorization for the paper to be published in the proceedings. It is required only for papers that are going to be published, that is, when the author chooses Publish.

Q17. Who has to submit the copyright form?

Only authors who choose Publish. Authors who choose Presentation Only do not need to submit it.

Q18. Which form applies to my track?

International Track: the Springer copyright / publication authorization form (see Downloads). Domestic Track full papers: the TAAI 2026 copyright form, submitted together with the paper abstract and the camera-ready paper. Domestic extended abstracts and the High School Session follow the instructions given for those formats.

Q19. Who signs the form, and can one author sign for all co-authors?

International Track: One corresponding author per paper signs the Springer license-to-publish agreement on behalf of all authors. This author must match the corresponding author marked in the paper header, must have the full right and authority to sign for all co-authors, and accepts responsibility for releasing the material on their behalf. Domestic Track: Any one of the listed authors may sign the TAAI 2026 copyright form on behalf of all co-authors, after obtaining their consent. The license is non-exclusive and royalty-free, and the authors keep the copyright. By signing, the signer confirms that the work is original, that they have the right to grant the license, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights. Fill in the Paper ID (your OpenReview submission number), paper title, author names, and the signer’s name, affiliation, phone, address, email, and date. It is good practice to obtain co-authors’ consent in writing (for example, by email) and keep the record.

Q20. Can I sign the copyright form with a scan or image of my signature, and how do I return it?

Yes. Both a scan of your handwritten signature and an image file of your signature are accepted. Return the signed copyright form as a PDF file together with your other camera-ready files. Upload it in the copyright form field of the Camera Ready Revision form on OpenReview.

Q21. Do I need to designate a corresponding author?

International Track: Yes. Designate exactly one corresponding author per paper, mark them clearly in the paper header, and include their email address (mandatory). The corresponding author signs the license-to-publish agreement and checks the final proofs. Authors’ names and order and the corresponding author cannot be changed once the files have been delivered to Springer.

Q22. What if an author is a US Government employee or subject to Crown Copyright?

Such authors often have to sign an alternative agreement, and more than one agreement may be required for a paper if some authors need a special form. Springer recommends contacting your own legal department as soon as the paper is accepted, because unresolved copyright issues can delay publication. Please also tell the Organizing Committee early.

Q23. Should the title and author list on the form match the final paper?

Yes. Please make sure the paper title, author names, and affiliations on the form are consistent with your camera-ready paper. Once the files are sent to the publisher, they cannot be changed.

Q24. Do I have to register before submitting my camera-ready paper?

Yes. Presenting authors must complete registration and payment by the camera-ready deadline (October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE; High School Session: November 8, 2026). Every accepted paper needs at least one such author who also presents on-site; otherwise the paper may be removed from the program and cannot be published. Registration and file submission are separate steps, so please complete both by the deadline. See Registration.

Q25. By when must presenting authors register?

Presenting authors must complete registration and payment by the camera-ready deadline, October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE (High School Session: November 8, 2026, 23:59 AoE), to secure their presentation slot. Early-bird rates apply to payments received by October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE. The regular registration deadline of November 13, 2026, 23:59 AoE applies to other attendees; registrations and payments received after it are treated as on-site registration.

Q26. Which registration category should presenting authors choose?

International Session authors register as Full Registration / Presenting Author. Domestic Session authors register as Presenting Author (full paper) or Presenting Author (extended abstract). Student registrations must be accompanied by proof of status. Fees are listed on the Registration page.

Q27. I have more than one accepted paper. Do I need one registration for each paper?

Yes. Each accepted paper needs its own registration: for every accepted paper, at least one author must complete registration and payment and present on-site. If you have more than one accepted paper, please register for each paper separately. See Registration for categories, fees, and deadlines.

Q28. What if I need to cancel my registration?

Cancellation and refund requests must be sent in writing (by email) to the TAAI 2026 Registration Office. Before the early-bird deadline, prepaid fees are refunded in full; after it, no refund is applicable. See the cancellation & refund policy on the Registration page. Please note that a paper without a registered author may be removed from the program.

Q29. How do I submit my camera-ready files?

International and Domestic Track authors of accepted papers submit through the Camera Ready Revision form on OpenReview. Log in with your OpenReview account, open your accepted paper, click Edit > Camera Ready Revision, upload your files, choose Publish or Presentation Only, and submit before the deadline. See How to submit. High School Session materials are sent as instructed on the High School Session page.

Q30. When does the camera-ready form open on OpenReview, and who can use it?

The Camera Ready Revision form is open for authors of accepted papers now that the acceptance decisions have been released, and closes after the camera-ready deadline. Only the authors of an accepted paper can use the form for that paper. The revision you submit is applied directly to the paper, so the paper always shows the latest version.

Q31. Are there file-naming rules?

No special naming scheme is required: upload each file in its own field of the OpenReview form. Please keep file names short, as Springer asks authors not to use long file names.

Q32. What should I do if I cannot submit before the deadline?

Please contact the Organizing Committee at taai2026org@gmail.com before the deadline. High School Session authors can use the contact on the High School Session page.

Q33. Can I add or correct an author, or change the title or author order?

Before the camera-ready deadline, authors can update the final files and information through OpenReview. Please make sure that the author names, author order, affiliations, and corresponding author are correct, and consistent with your OpenReview records.

  • To add or remove an author, change the author order, or change the corresponding author (International and Domestic Tracks), please contact the Program Chairs (taai2026org@gmail.com) first for confirmation.
  • Corrections of name spelling or affiliation can be made yourselves in the form; keep Authors Full Names and Authors Emails consistent with the Authors field.

Please treat the last version submitted before the camera-ready deadline as final; after the deadline, changes to author information are generally not accepted. International Track papers for which the author chooses Publish are sent to Springer for publication: once the files are delivered, authors cannot be added, removed, or reordered, and the corresponding author cannot be changed. Please check all author information carefully before submitting to avoid affecting the publication process.

Q34. What information should I check before submitting?

Check the paper title, author names, affiliations, and author email addresses; that the paper is at the correct length for its accepted paper type; and that the copyright form (Publish only) matches the paper.

Q35. Is a published paper guaranteed to appear in Springer CCIS?

No. Authors who choose Publish must complete the camera-ready submission, publication authorization, and the registration and presentation requirements; final inclusion of any individual paper is still subject to the publisher's review. See the Publication Policy.

Q36. I did not receive the acceptance notification email. What should I do?

Review result notifications are sent from TAAI 2026 <taai2026-notifications@openreview.net> (OpenReview) to the email addresses registered with the authors’ OpenReview accounts. Please check your spam or junk folder and make sure messages from that address are allowed. You can also see your paper’s final decision and any available reviewer comments by logging in to OpenReview and opening your paper. If you still cannot find the notification, contact taai2026org@gmail.com. Replies to the notification email go to taai2026org@gmail.com.

Q37. I cannot find the Camera Ready Revision option on my paper. What should I do?

Log in to OpenReview with the account used to submit the paper, open your accepted paper (for example from the Author Console), and click Edit; Camera Ready Revision appears in that menu. Only the authors of an accepted paper can use it. If it still does not appear, check that you are logged in with the correct account and contact taai2026org@gmail.com.

Q38. Which fields in the Camera Ready Revision form are required?

Required: PDF, Publication Decision, Authors Full Names, Corresponding Author Email, Authors Emails, and Signatures. Source Files and Copyright Form are required when you select Publish, and Abstract File is for Domestic Track full papers that select Publish. See the field table under How to submit.

Q39. How do I fill in Authors Full Names and Authors Emails?

Enter the full names of all authors in the exact order shown in the final manuscript, separated by semicolons (;). In Authors Emails, enter each author’s email in the same order as the names, also separated by semicolons. These emails are used only by the conference and the Publication Chairs for the proceedings. If you correct an author in the Authors field, update these two fields to match. Contact the Program Chairs before adding or removing an author or changing the order (see Q33).

Q40. What do I enter in Corresponding Author Email?

International Track: the email address of the ONE designated corresponding author (exactly one is required, and it must match the manuscript header). Domestic Track: the email address of any one author.

Q41. Which fields do I fill in if I choose Presentation Only?

Select Presentation Only (NOT-to-Publish) in Publication Decision, then complete the PDF, Authors Full Names, Corresponding Author Email, Authors Emails, and Signatures fields. Leave Source Files, Copyright Form, and Abstract File empty.

Q42. What is the Abstract File field for?

It is only for Domestic Track full papers that select Publish: upload the required paper abstract document, following the TAAI 2026 domestic camera-ready instructions (see the paper abstract template under Downloads). International Track authors leave it empty.

Q43. What is the Signatures dropdown at the bottom of the form?

OpenReview requires you to choose which group you are submitting the revision as. The dropdown offers TAAI 2026 Conference Submission<number> Authors and TAAI 2026 Conference Program Chairs. Authors must select TAAI 2026 Conference Submission<number> Authors (the number is your paper number). The Readers line above it shows who can read the revision: the conference and your paper’s authors.

Q44. Does paying for extra pages change my paper type?

No. Paid extra pages do not change the accepted paper type, the publication type, or the presentation format. A paper accepted as Oral is still published as a Full Paper, and a paper accepted as Poster is still published as a Short Paper with a Poster presentation. See the page policy.

Q45. Is the additional page fee part of the registration fee?

No. The additional page fee (NT$1,500 per extra page; NT$3,000 for two) is charged separately, in addition to the registration fee required for the paper, but it is paid together with the registration fee in the online registration system. See the page policy and Registration.

Q46. How and by when do I pay the additional page fee?

The additional page fee is due by the camera-ready deadline, October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE (Taipei time: November 1, 2026, 19:59), and is paid together with the registration fee in the online registration system. See the page policy.

Q47. Do the page limits and the additional page fee apply to Presentation Only papers?

No. The page limits and the additional page fee apply only to papers published in the proceedings (Publish). They do not apply to Presentation Only (NOT-to-Publish) papers.

Q48. Do Domestic Track papers pay an additional page fee?

No. The additional page fee applies only to International Track papers published in the proceedings. Domestic Track page limits are fixed: a Full Paper is up to 6 A4 pages and an Extended Abstract is up to 2 A4 pages. The only fee for Domestic Track authors is the registration fee for the paper (Presenting Author, full paper or extended abstract); see Registration.

Q49. Why is the camera-ready length different from the 12–15 pages in the call for papers?

At submission, all International Track manuscripts follow the same length (12–15 pages). After the review decision, the paper type in the proceedings is determined by the presentation format: papers accepted as Oral are published as Full Papers (base 12–15 pages; up to 17 pages with paid extra pages), and papers accepted as Poster are published as Short Papers (base 6–11 pages; up to 13 pages with paid extra pages). A paper accepted as Poster that was submitted at 12–15 pages must therefore be adjusted to the Short Paper length if you choose Publish. See Q10 and the page policy.

Q50. Can I keep my original, longer manuscript?

Yes, if you choose Presentation Only (NOT-to-Publish): the page limits and the additional page fee do not apply, and you still present as assigned, but the paper is not included in the proceedings. If you want the paper published, a Poster paper must fit the Short Paper limit of at most 13 pages (base 6–11 pages plus up to 2 paid extra pages), including references and appendices.

Q51. Can I present remotely if I cannot travel?

On-site presentation is the default. Authors who cannot travel for a justified reason (for example, a visa refusal supported by documentation) may apply in advance for a remote or pre-recorded presentation. Presenting-author registration and payment by October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE are still required, and publication in the proceedings is unchanged. Applications are due by November 10, 2026, 23:59 AoE and videos (shared as a cloud-storage link) by November 16, 2026, 23:59 AoE. See the Registration FAQ for how to apply and the video requirements, and how to request a visa invitation letter.

Q52. What do I select in Publication Decision for a Domestic Extended Abstract?

Select Presentation Only (NOT-to-Publish). A Domestic Extended Abstract is a non-archival conference presentation and is not published in the proceedings; choosing Publish does not change this. Your title, authors, affiliations, and abstract may still be listed in the TAAI 2026 Program & Abstract Book. Leave Source Files, Copyright Form, and Abstract File empty, complete the other required fields, and submit the final abstract materials as instructed. At least one student author must still register as Presenting Author (extended abstract) by October 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE. See the Call for Papers FAQ Q30 and Q31.

Q53. Can I convert my accepted Extended Abstract into a Full Paper?

No. Extended Abstracts and Full Papers are separate submission formats with different review standards, and the Full Paper submission period has closed. An accepted Extended Abstract remains an Extended Abstract presented as a poster. After the conference you may extend the work and submit it to another conference or journal, subject to that venue’s policies (see Call for Papers FAQ Q40).

Q54. What are the requirements for presenting a poster at the conference?

Posters should be A0 portrait (84.1 cm × 118.9 cm); smaller formats such as A1 are acceptable, landscape posters are not permitted.
