High School Student Session on
Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications

This special session “High School Student Session on Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications” is hosted under TAAI 2026 (Technologies and Applications of Artificial Intelligence).

Artificial intelligence has shown remarkable successes in various real-world applications. The applications of computational intelligence are now shaping the way in various domains, such as businesses, governments, and educational institutions. This special session provides a platform for high school students to increase their participation in the field of computational intelligence. High school students are encouraged to submit the report or results on their special projects in school or self-study projects on any aspect of computational intelligence or its applications.

High school students are encouraged to submit reports related to Artificial Intelligence or its applications, on the following topics, but not limited to:

Artificial Intelligence
Machine Learning
Data Mining
Applications of Artificial Intelligence
Intelligent learning systems
Intelligent monitoring and tutoring systems
Smart classroom
Recommendation Systems
Classification
Clustering
Anomaly Detection
Data analytics and big data applications

Format & how to submit

Submission by email

All papers must be submitted to the following email:
jwhuang@mail.ncku.edu.tw

  • Each paper should be within 4 pages, including figures, tables, and references.
  • Papers must be written in English.
  • Submissions are single-blind, i.e., the names and affiliations of the authors should be listed in the submitted version.
  • All papers should be submitted using the Springer A4 format.

Registration & presentation

  • Paper registration is required for the inclusion of papers in the conference.
  • One of the authors of the accepted paper must present the work at this special session of TAAI 2026.
  • After the paper is accepted, authors must sign an authorization agreement permitting TAAI 2026 to use the paper's title, authors, school, advisor, and abstract in the conference program and related materials.

Publication status

  • Manuscripts follow the Springer A4 format for consistent layout only; using this format does not by itself mean a paper will be included in the Springer proceedings.
  • Unless otherwise announced, High School Special Session papers are not submitted to Springer, EI Compendex, or Scopus, and are not assigned an individual DOI.
  • Accepted papers are presented at the High School Student Session; their title, authors, school, and abstract may be included in the TAAI 2026 Program & Abstract Book as a record of the presentation. See the main CFP's Publication Policy for how this compares with the other tracks.
